About Me, Myself and I

Welcome to According to Adana! I wish I could say I came up with the name myself but that credit has to go to my friend Giselle Mills. She actually encouraged me to start this blog, so if it wasn't for her all my thoughts would have probably remained in my head!

My name is Adana Hosang. I have a great personality lol I know self praise is no praise but say what! I am fun, extremely friendly and VERY talkative once you get to know me. Initially though, I am very shy and may appear to be withdrawn and may seem to lack everything resembling a personality, but once you take the time to get to know me, you will realize what a rare gem I am. 

I am thoughtful, caring and would do anything to make the people in my life happier even if it means putting aside my issues to help a friend, even if I am in the middle of something I will drop whatever I am doing to help those people in my life that I am lucky enough to call my friends. God has blessed me with amazing friends who I try my best to cherish, but I'm not perfect so I do get caught up in my life and forget to check on them at times. I guess sometimes you forget that everyone is going through their own daily struggles and the world is bigger than just me. 

I am law student at the University of the West Indies, I am in my third year and I am so glad to be leaving! Unfortunately, I have chicken pox ughh and was unable to write my last exam... So I have to write it in July/August. So after 3 years of waiting to be finished with this painful struggle that is called a law degree, I don't even get to feel FREE because I still have this last exam to write. 

I was initially a business student, I LOVE business and accounting! They are dear to my heart but I decided to do my first degree in Law instead. Law really was a struggle for me because my heart was never really in it. And when you are doing something that you don't love it feels like a burden! People speak about their degree and you can see the passion in their eyes I think my passion for law is lacking or maybe I have no passion for it all! But I have since learned to appreciate Law, we are friends now! I want to do my MBA and I will probably specialize in Business Law. Maybe, just maybe I may be able to have The Best of Both Worlds!
